We came home on friday night and the girls wanted to get the Christmas decorations down as soon as we got home. We got it all down but since it was getting late we only unpacked the village houses. On saturday Jamie put lights on our house and the girls and I decorated the tree and set up our Christmas village. The village is the girls favorite. Every year we buy a new house. I let them play with the little people and most of them have been glued back together but Cassie has a great time. They can't wait for Christmas. I can't believe it is already Christmas time again. Tonight for a bedtime story we read the "Christmas Orange." I love Christmas stories. They really help you realize how truly blessed we are.

A few of us are playing a card game called Golf. My brother, wearing the white shirt won. He always wins. :-) It was fun. I was last most of the game but the last three rounds I was lucky and actually came in third. The rest of the family was watching a movie downstairs or football upstairs.

We went tomy mom's house in Kanab for Thanksgiving. It was cold and rainy all day. I ended up running in the rain but I came prepared so it wasn't to bad. My three brothers, sister and their families came. It was a lot of fun. The girls had a great time playing with their cousins. There was a ton of food! We set up a table in the garage for the kids (15 & younger) so they could mess around and be loud.

Cassie was having a great time to.

Jadzia was even to tired to smile.

Saturday night after the play all the cast went to Denny's. Jadzia really wanted to go so even though it was already 11:00 p.m. we went to Denny's. Jadzia had a great time. Ahhh, this almost makes me wish I was young again. We were very tired when we got home at 12:30 a.m.

Saturday afternoon was great! My friend Liz Benson and I went to lunch then to the theatre to see the movie "Twilight" I love the books and was a little disappointed in the movie. I thought they didn't spend enough time on certain important aspects of the book . I still liked the movie though . I can't wait for the second movie.

Jadzia, our little chunk of cheese, dancing in Be Our Guest

She is a village girl in the Belle song

This week and the weekend has been busy. Jadzia did fantastic in the play. She is a natural actress. Mom came and went to the play with us on friday. Jadzia has loved doing the play and is kind of sad to see it end. I think her favorite part is when the villagers attack the castle. She is still a chunk of cheese and she gets to chase the villagers around.

On November 20th - 24th. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday is when Snow Canyon High School is doing the play Beauty and the Beast. Jadzia is in 4 scenes. She is in the beginning as a village girl. During Be Our Guest she is a chunk of cheese. She is in the mob scene when the villagers attack the castle and finally in the Human Again she is wearing her beautiful brown dress. The performance starts at 7 p.m.

She already performed in a matinee on friday. She will have 4 more matinee's this week. Thursday will be very busy. She will have a matinee and a night performance.

Cassie was looking so cute today out on the front lawn doing a little cheer I just had to take a couple pictures. This was after family pictures and just before we left for dinner.

Pictures of Jamie's remodelled bike. The other tank was too small plus I hated the color so he bought a unpainted tank and painted it a hunter green. Looks much nicer than the gross teal color.

Today we had family pictures in front of Tuacahn. I'll post a family picture when we get them but after our family pictures I took a picture of the girls and Jadzia took a picture of Jamie and I. It was a very nice day. I was actually hot in my long sleeved shirt. Today was one of the major reasons we live here. Cool in the morning for running then perfect in the afternoon.
At 5 p.m. Jamie and I went on a date. (It was about time.) We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. There was a long wait for a table but there was room at the bar so Jamie and I sat at the bar. I decided since I was sitting at the bar I'd get a drink. (hahaha) I got a Strawberry lemonade--nonalcoholic, of course. Jamie just got water then he ordered the 10 ounce ribeye with baked potatoe and salad. I got a 1/2 rack of ribs, sweet potatoe and salad. HMMMM.. It was delicious. The meat was so tender it just feel off the bones. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. After dinner we went to the new James Bond movie. We first had to stand in line for about 45 minutes but it was a great movie.

Riding scooters on Grandma's half circle driveway and sidewalk are so much fun. It is much more fun than riding them at home. The girls didn't want to come home. They wanted to stay a week.

Saturday, we ate breakfast then helped Grandma clean her windowsills then we sat down and played a game of Sorry. It was really fun. Jadzia ended up winning.
Two of the singers with Jadzia and Cassie. I wanted to really get their costumes because they were really awesome but there were other people waiting to congradulate the performers so I just quickly took a picture.

If you look really close in the background two of the dancers were on stilts and dressed as trees.

These pictures are from the song "Two Worlds, One Family" from the movie Tarzan. The costumes were amazing.

This song was called "I Don’t Wanna Show Off"

These two pictures are from the songs "One Short day" and "Dancing through Life." from the show "Wicked" The singing and dancing were great and the costumes awesome. It was like a musical but each song they sang told their own story.

After dinner we had tickets to go see the BYU Young Ambassadors at the Kanab auditorium. Mom and Dusty came with us.

On friday the girls and I went to visit Grandma LeFevre in Kanab. We got there just as the sun was setting. The girls love visiting Grandma.

Jadzia and her candy. Cassie was being grumpy and wouldn't let me take a picture of her with her candy.

Friday morning Red Mountain Elementary started the day with a fun costume parade. I didn't make it down to Jadzia's classroom to get a group picture because of Cassie's party. After the parade Cassie's class had a party which I was in charge of. Why do things always go better in your mind than in real life. I had asked a few moms to help with the party but most left after only a short time. I hope the kids had a fun time. We did lots of fun things. The huge spider web was awesome. I was busy helping the kids so I didn't get a super good shot of the web and the little styro-foam spiders turned out really cute. We ate doughnut holes, sprite and apple slices for a snack. Jadzia and her class had a fun pizza party. While Cassie was at lunch I went into Jadiza's class and helped pour the soda. Poor Ms. Bickley the boys were bouncing off the walls.

Halloween was great! If it was up to me I'd just make halloween the last friday in October so it was always on a friday. It was so nice not worrying about getting the homework done and to bed because of school the next day. The girls and I had a fantastic time going with couple friends even though I got teased several times about my costume (I dressed up as a runner. :-) Okay, so maybe it was a bit lame but very cheap.) We did our neighborhood which took about an hour. The girls were tired so we came home and they sorted their candy then we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Kreyling.

The girls went trick or treating with friends

If you notice the paint on the little pumpkins and wonder what happened the girls wanted to paint their pumpkins about a week before we carved them. Pumpkin carving is Jamie's very favorite part of Halloween. LOL!!
