Easter Sunday was nice and relaxing. The speakers in church were very good and I really enjoyed the musical number. Jamie made us a wonderful Easter dinner. He has spoiled us this weekend with all his cooking. I totally forgot to take pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses so I'll have to do that this Sunday.

The girls dyed Easter eggs after the movie. They used stickers, crayons and made stripes. The best part about coloring the eggs is eating them when they are done. Deviled eggs.. hmmm... delicious.

The girls couldn't wait to get outside on Saturday a pick up the plastic eggs left by the Easter Bunny. He also left the girls new swimming goggles. They had fun even though it was raining. After finding eggs Jamie made us all Belgium waffles with cool whip, peaches, blueberries and strawberries. Later in the day we went to the Hannah Montana movie.

For 4th grade Jadzia had to do a report on one of her pioneer ancestors. We decided on Caroline Ely Partridge. This project was a lot of fun. At first Jadzia thought it was boring but then we starting reading and writing and finding pictures. It made Jadzia appreciate the things she had when she learned about how her ancestors suffered from hunger, cold and persecution.
