We invited Barry over for dessert one last time before he is ordained a missionary. He is going to be a great missionary. He already looks like one!

Kaylee

After Sunday dinner Kaylee found my shoes and put them on. She reminded me so much of Jadzia when she was little. She is such a cutie pie.

Spectrum 10K

Jamie and I love doing this race. It is in Ivins. I love running through Snow Canyon and pushing myself. I was really surprised to realize that I had taken first place in my age group. It was a fun race and they had pretty good snacks at the end of the race. I saw a few young kids running and I can't wait for the day when the girls want to do a race with us. It was a beautiful day.

March 8th, 2010

This was a very special day for us. Cassie was able to get baptized. We were very excited. Since Cassie was the only one getting baptized in our stake we were able to plan the whole baptism. My mom came and talked about how baptism is like being changed into a pickle. Cassie wanted this talk ever since mom did this talk at Jadzia's baptism.

After Cassie was baptized. Uncle Paul talked about the Holy Ghost. Then she was given the holy ghost. Jamie, Lloyd, Larren, Jon, Grandpa Jule, Bishop Mehr, Paul and Paul Hurt were in the circle.

Jamie and I bore our testimonies. It was a very wonderful day. After the baptism we went to Snow Canyon High school and ate 'special' dish and brownies.

Cassie Joan Kreyling

I can't believe my little baby is 8 years old. She will be getting baptized on March 6th. I took this picture outside of our church. She is turning into such a beautiful young lady!

Cassie's family birthday party. A yummy cake from Costco! White cake with chocolate filling. We also ate Hawaiian haystacks and watched a new movie on the Disney Channel.

Cassie's friend birthday party. We played games, decorated bags with fabric paint, made lip gloss and decorated sugar cookies. There are more pictures on my facebook account.

Red Mountain Elementary had dress up day every Friday, in February, with different time periods. The 20's, 50's, 70's and the 80's. Here are the girls in there 80's costumes. I thought the girls looked great. I have to say we looked in my high school year books to find fashions for the 80's. :-)

We had such a fun day yesterday. We first started out the day with the Sun Painter Half Marathon. I really didn't want to run in the rain and was hoping it would stop. When I got up at 7 a.m. It was pouring down rain but luckily a half hour later it stopped. We left the house at 8 a.m. to go pick up Barry and Paul Kreyling. Barry was running the half with us and Paul was doing the 5k. It was a little cold and very cloudy but no wind or rain.

There were a lot of runners! I remember the first year we did the Sun Painter 1/2 there were only probably about 2oo runners. Yesterday there were about 2200 hundred runners. Jamie, Barry and I started really close to the front so we could get a fast start and not get bogged down with slower runners. I love the Sun Painter. It is nice to get there and not have to be bused anywhere. I sure appreciate all the volunteers that help with the water stops and the police officers that stop traffic for us. It was also nice to run some place different. Although I may go over to Bloomington and do one of my long marathon training runs there. The trails are great.

I am very grateful that Jamie comes back the last 1/2 mile of the race and pushes me to give it everything I've got for a strong finish. I was happy with my time of 1:39 although I think I could have run a minute faster. Jamie and Barry did great! Paul did awesome too!! It is fun to sharing running experiences with family. I hope they do the Spectrum 10k with us.

After the marathon we showered and ate lunch. Then packed up some snacks and our winter clothes and headed for Pine Mountain. I love the fact that we can drive 30 minutes and be in the snow.

I couldn't believe how much snow was up there. We had never been there when there had been that much snow. It was so hard walking through it. I luckily had some really tall rubber boots and waterproof pants. The snow still came up past my knee. The sun was shining and it wasn't really that cold. We trudged over to spot where we usually slide down and proceeded to make a trail. I think the first hour we just spent making a path down the hill so there weren't too many bumps. Then packing down snow to get up to the top of the path. The second hour we spent tubing then walking back up the hill then sliding down again. It was a lot of fun. Two and a half hours later we were cold and wet so we hoped back in the truck and headed home.

We ended the evening going to Golden Corral for dinner. After playing in the snow all afternoon it tasted so good. It was a fun day. I posted more pictures and video on my facebook account.

Another year of dance performances is here. This year their hair is in a half pony tail pulled back and the rest of the hair in ringlets. I bought some foam curlers and put their hair in the curlers. Friday, the 15th was their first performance at Desert Hills High School. The girls were very excited. I wrapped their hair in curlers Thursday night then friday about 4:30p.m. I touched up their curls with a curling iron. We ate spaghetti for dinner then Jadzia and Cassie put on their dance costumes. They were very excited to do their dance.

After my experience of dancing in front of a crowd I am amazed they do so well. I am just glad to be watching them instead of out their dance.. Although I have to admit..I did have a lot of fun practicing the dance.

Jadzia danced to "Life is a Highway." and Cassie dances to "Move It." from the Madagascar soundtrack. They both did a fantastic job. Next Wednesday they will dance at Pine View then the following Wednesday they will be performing at Dixie High School. On February 17th they will be dancing at Snow Canyon.

I did get a little video of Cassie's dance. It is on my facebook wall.

Cassie was jumping up in the air. I tried to take a picture of her jumping but kept missing it.

We're just playing in the rain!!

If you look close you can see the big stream of water running down the street! It didn't just rain it POURED!!

It started to rain so hard while Jamie was finishing up but it was much better than working in the heat!! He had fun playing in the mud.

This is where our patio is going. There is going to be a 3 foot privacy wall around the front and the side. The concrete for the patio is coming tomorrow! We had to work hard today to get it ready.

Here is Jamie hard at work.

I shoveled all this dirt into a pile on our grass this morning. Then when Jamie brought the truck home I shoveled it in all by myself! Then I had to take it over to my neighbors. It was very tiring. Getting the patio ready for concrete is a lot of work!

It was a perfect little trip to end the summer. Next August we want to do the same thing.
Just hang out at the beach and have fun.

The beach was a lot of fun! When we were tired of swimming we played in the sand.
On the last day we were in San Diego we went to Sea Life. It is a new aquarium right next to Lego Land. It was really neat. They had some great looking sharks and many unusual fish that I had never seen. We learned a lot about fish, and keeping the ocean clean.
Jadzia jumping a wave.

Boogie Boarding

We had a great time in San Diego the first week in August.
Swimming in the ocean was so much fun although we did
get a little too much sun but no bad sunburns.
I had to keep putting sunscreen on the girls, Jamie, and myself.
Got a great tan. Too bad it is already fading.

This is Jadzia and Cassie's first day of school! I can't believe how big they are getting.
This will be Jadzia's last year of elementary school.
She is really liking Mr. Powell and Cassie loves Mrs. Thomas.

So I have gotten a little behind in posting. :-) I did post some pictures of Jadzia in the stadium of fire on my facebook account if anyone wants to take a look. When I get back home I'll try to update my blog.

Cassie and Aubrey were being silly and tried to play Twister on Jadzia's towel

We went to the splash pad by Unity Park on Tuesday with the Seegmillers. We stayed about 2 hours. They all had a good time. The wind started blowing a little and Rochelle and I got a little wet when the wind would blow water on us.
